Interview by Parisa Eshrati I had the honor of speaking with the legendary King of Surf Guitar and Father of Heavy Metal, Dick Dale, before his trip to Tucson. What was supposed to be a fifteen minute phone interview turned in the most enlightening hour long conversation. I had several questions lined up and was so nervously trying to figure out how to go about asking them, but I realized I had to just let go of any format and listen to his stories. He is an incredibly humble man with amazing stories and a beautiful outlook on life. In this interview, he sheds light on the music industry, health, happiness, and much more.
