Check out our playlist featuring bands from the first annual Sonoran Violence Fest, and see how you can win a pair of tickets to the Tucson show.
This January will kick off the first year of Sonoran Violence, a two-day powerviolence mini-fest taking place in Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona. The fest features heavy-hitter headliners such as Infest, a Valencia-based band since '86 who first coined the term “powerviolence”, and Seattle-based Iron Lung, who have not only pioneered the genre but released dozens of prolific powerviolence bands on their label (Iron Lung Records). The fest also celebrates local powerviolence on their lineup, with Tucson-band Sex Prisoner celebrating their 10 year anniversary and Phoenix locals Magnum Force reuniting just for this event. Preview the lineup on our Spotify playlist: We have a pair of tickets to giveaway for the Tucson show at Club Congress on January 3rd. Follow us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter and tag us in a post telling us who you’re stoked to see. Multiple entries allowed. Winner will be announced on January 1st! www.facebook.com/trialanderrorcollective twitter.com/trialyerror instagram.com/trialanderrorcollective For tickets and more information, follow Sonoran Violence on their website and Facebook.
