 "Sweet Dreams" - Angel Olsen

T&E writer Brian Denton says, "Angel Olsen has been a staple for me for years, and her album PHASES surpassed my expectations when it was released in late 2017. Each song has the feeling of a post-breakup roadtrip for introverts, with each track recollecting the tribulations of love. The song 'Sweet Dreams' echoes the jangly, heavy-reverb guitar and tambourine swats found in songs of The Doors, but is swathed in vocals that range from deep, velvety phrases up into her songbird yodels. 'Sweet Dreams' fits perfectly among the rest of the album, where it's both a very polished song and yet feels like an undiscovered demo recording from 60 years ago."

​"Internet" - All Them Witches

​T&E writer Greg Gonzales says, “The whole album pays homage and nods all over, but this track's sense of humor, lyricism, and focus on metaphor over storytelling is what gets my attention. It’s a long, slow tracken driven like a roadhouse rocker — from one of the bands that reminds us year after year that rock is far from dead.”

"QYURRYUS" - The Voidz

T&E writer Joanna Swaap says, "I love The Voidz, but when I first heard this song a few years ago I thought it was pretty awful. I don't know what happened, but it's now one of my favorite songs ever and gets me so pumped up every time I hear it. Have fun with its bizarreness, and if you hate it, revisit it again in approx. three days' time ."
