"Like Coconut Water" - BALTHVS

T&E writer Alex says, "I really got into BALTHVS last year, and the laid-back psychedelic indie funk of their newest EP, Mango Season, sure makes for a pleasant way to start the new year. Mango Season is a mostly instrumental EP, but 'Like Coconut Water' closes things off with lovely vocal contributions from lead singer and bassist Johanna Mercuriana. The Bogotá, Colombia-based trio will be making their way to the western US for a short tour this March; be sure to check their socials for dates and catch them if they're coming to a city near you."

"Equilibrio Fatal" - Demoniac

T&E writer Daniel says, "The real challenge for this song of the week was picking which track off this album to select.  It has been such a long time since I've heard thrash that goes as hard and is as fun as what Demoniac puts out here.  'Equilibrio Fatal' is such a good slammin time - crisp execution on sick riffs, what more could you want?  I've been jamming to this all week, and every time it comes on I start headbanging as a knee-jerk reaction.  Check out this whole album, this is killer stuff from Chile.  This rocks!"
