To celebrate Trial and Error Collective’s one year anniversary, we’re giving away two passes to the Dusk Music Festival in Tucson! Check out this blog for fest info, playlists, and details on how you could win!
This year marks the first annual Dusk Music Festival, held in the historic Rillito Downs in Tucson. In its first year, the festival has already immersed itself in the local community by highlighting the sights, tastes, and sounds of the Old Pueblo. The venue will be surrounded by live art installations and murals from local artists Joe Pagac, Lex Gjurasic and Danny Martin, which will be complimented by a cactus art garden to complete the Southwest visual aesthetic. Festival goers can also sample some uniquely Tucson eats, such as Empire Pizza, Prep & Pastry, and more. The lineup features an assortment of artists from local indie-Americana favorite Calexico, to trap EDM DJ RL Grime, to Detriot-based rapper Danny Brown, who recently released his groundbreaking LP Atrocity Exhibition on Warp Records. Aside from having a varied lineup of local and national acts to keep attendees engaged throughout the evening, the festival will also have an interactive aspect for people to explore between acts. Dusk Festival is collaborating with TenWest for a Technology Pavillion with science demonstrations and Creative Machines. Additionally, there will be a silent cinema, an arcade center, and even hot air balloon rides to ensure a nonstop sensory experience.
