September Collective Collab Playlist: Spoken Word Songs

It's poetry in a playlist! For the September collab blog, the collective rounded up a playlist with 50 of our favorite spoken word songs or tracks with spoken word segments.

Parisa says, "For further listening, I recommend this full 40 min. sound collage from Delia Derbyshire & Barry Bermange from 1964. It's a series of interviews and narrations of people talking about dreams, spliced and collaged in accordance to the a theme: 'Running', 'Falling', 'Land', 'Sea' and 'Color'. The narrations are backed behind a brilliant musique concrète, early analogue synth experimental soundtrack."
