With live music that makes your body vibrate, enchanting art installations and an audience that is equal parts ridiculous and respectful, Bass Coast captured the heart of T&E contributor Noé Loyola in its 2018 edition.

Bassist, IDM artist, robot programmer, and all-around musical magician Tom Jenkinson is back on tour with his four-piece band, Shobaleader One. On their latest release, Elektrac, the group careens through a dozen Squarepusher tracks, transforming the old electronic pieces into something akin to jazz fusion at its most manic, ecstatic, and schizophrenic.
