Did David Bowie try to warn us about Kanye West? Is Andrew W.K. a party-rocking cyborg? Who really was behind the Village People?! Take off your thinking caps and put on your tinfoil hats, 'cause for the April (fools!) edition of the collaborative blog, members of the collective discuss some of the most FAR OUT musical conspiracies.
For the February edition of the collab blog, T&E partnered with the Tucson Living Streets Alliance (LSA) to provide a soundtrack for their Cyclovia group ride event. The playlist highlights songs about transportation - biking, walking, running, skating, and public transport. Stream it below, and read our interview with LSA coordinator Tricia Schwartz to learn more about Cyclovia's vision of repurposing public streets to be more inclusive for all!
As we find ourselves drawing closer to the end of another wild and unpredictable year, we at T&E find it more important than ever to celebrate the music that connected us all. So for our final collab blog of the year, our passionate community of music aficionados have compiled year end lists to cap off the year the right way. With over fifty genre-spanning albums, EPs, and singles, there's something to suit every music lover in our lists. Dive in!
In honor of World Vegan Month, a few members of the collective illustrate a genre-defying love for animals in the form of a playlist that highlights some of our favorite songs about animal rights. We also collaborated with the Ironwood Pig Sanctuary for a photo gallery of all their pigs named after famous musicians. Check out photos and learn more about the sanctuary below!
