Trial and Error Collective is a place for people to come together based on a love for all things music. The collective consists of writers, poets, visual artists, photographers, musicians, radio DJs, college burnouts, leaners, loafers, and easy riders. Our blogs are not just limited to album reviews; we discuss music culture, explore all genres, and delve into artists both new and old.
In addition to our online presence, the collective gets together every season to craft up a free zine that's distributed throughout Tucson, Phoenix, Chicago, Oakland, Sacramento and Seattle. The zines feature some of our blogs in addition to some handmade artwork, poetry, playlists, and more. Each zine is printed on a risograph, assembled, folded and stapled by hand. We also produce podcasts that cover a range of music-related subjects, which you can stream on our site, Podomatic, or iTunes.
Overall, we hope this website can be a resource that people can use to find some cool new music to dig into. If you're interested in getting involved with writing, contributing to the zine, or being on a podcast, please use the form on the Contact page. We're always open for submissions and new collaborators. It'll look good on ya!
